The Luminer Foundation was started by and for the employees of Luminer so that the company can give back to the community in which we all live and work.
The Luminer Foundation raises funds from predominantly the operations and profits of Luminer Converting Group, but also from outside donations.
Over the last several years, the foundation’s focus has been helping to improve the plight of those suffering from inadequate housing due to poverty or housing destroyed by Super Storm Sandy which devastated our area in 2012.
Some of the major beneficiaries of the foundation have been Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity, St Vincent DePaul Society, and a number of other 501c3 organizations working in this area.
